Nicole has a vision for what health and wellness should be and can be. As our Chief Executive Officer, she drives StayWell's strategy and growth. Nicole’s background includes population health management, health system growth strategies, and patient and employee education. She has broad experience in SaaS development and delivery, having managed workflow and analytics applications designed for patients, analysts, clinicians and executives. In addition, she has a deep understanding of today’s most pressing health care trends. In other words: Nicole gets it.
Before she came to us, Nicole was Senior Vice President of the Crimson Clinical Advantage division of The Advisory Board Company. Prior to The Advisory Board, Nicole was a manager with Deloitte Consulting, where she specialized in healthcare operations and turnarounds.
Nicole holds master’s degrees in Business Administration and Management, and Health Care Management and Policy from the University of Michigan. Her bachelor’s degree in English is from Dartmouth College.
Pearce has a true passion for better health. His own personal journey has taken him on a run across America, which gave him an enlightened perspective on the path to wellness. As our President, he oversees operations, implementation, client service and product management across all of StayWell’s solutions and markets. He has more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience, and works with employers, health systems and payers to manage population health.
Prior to StayWell, Pearce served as Executive Director of The Advisory Board Company’s Solutions Partnerships Team. He has experience in investor-owned, nonprofit, and academic medical centers, as well as federal and state legislative bodies and agencies. With a special expertise in organizational theory and structure, he is adept at providing business design services, ensuring that organizations focus on working toward a shared vision.
Pearce holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. He is board certified in healthcare management and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Illuminating the path to better health takes the kind of medical expertise and guidance we get from Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Gregg. Dr. Gregg has years of experience in data analytics and healthcare technology, which we find invaluable in today’s fast-paced, ever changing healthcare environment. He collaborates with Clinical Programs, Product Development, Technology and Research, Informatics, Account Management and Sales to drive our integrated strategy for population health management. He also has a wealth of experience in data analytics and healthcare technology.
Before he joined StayWell, Dr. Gregg ran Gregg Consulting Services, a healthcare consulting business focused on business strategy, population health management, clinical care delivery, provider quality and cost containment. He was previously a principal and national physician consultant with Mercer Health & Benefits and served as Vice President and Medical Officer at HealthPartners.
Dr. Gregg holds a B.S. degree from Harvard and a medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dr. Gregg trained in internal medicine at Parkland Hospital in Texas and the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He practiced medicine in the Allina Health Systems and at HealthPartners, and was an associate clinical professor at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
Dr. Gregg is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the American Public Health Association.

David is a seasoned technology executive with more than 20 years of progressive experience managing enterprise projects, building relationships, and aligning technology solutions and available resources with business goals. He brings decades of experience enabling technology platforms that drive innovative product and value creation for clients. He is also one of our resident experts in the architecture, design and implementation of population management and health and wellness technology platforms.
David was CTO at Underwriters Laboratories before coming to StayWell. There he focused on workplace health and safety solutions. He also has experience with other well-known healthcare industry players, including Healthways and Online Health.
David holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of HiMSS, and an active member of technology-related communities such as the Nashville Technology Council, Nashville CIO Council, and the Scrum Alliance.

Peter is responsible for strategy and development to support the wide range of health solutions that StayWell delivers to healthcare organizations and employers across the country. Peter has more than 20 years of healthcare and medical informatics experience, and deep expertise in commercializing innovative solutions that empower people for greater health and well-being. An accomplished strategist, he takes pride in his ability to deliver positive experiences to StayWell clients.
Peter was President of U.S. Sales for Merge Healthcare, served as Territory Vice President for McKesson, Vice President of the central region for ISH, Inc. and held leadership positions within Cerner Corporation.
Peter holds a master’s degree in Science in Medical Informatics from Northwestern, an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and a Bachelor of General Science in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. Peter is a longtime a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HiMSS).
PJ is a writer by trade with more than 30 years in the publishing industry. Her focus has been writing and editing research and health materials for the lay audience. As Co-Chief Content Officer, she is responsible for digital media creation and multi-channel publication of the organization’s content across all mediums. PJ joined the company in 1989, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Content. PJ’s writing, editorial and content experience spans decades focusing on instructional design and health literacy. She is particularly passionate about developing accurate health content that reduces fear and sparks action.
PJ was a staff writer for The Pennsylvania State University and North Carolina State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in The Writing Option from The Pennsylvania State University.
As SVP of Creative Services, Diana uses every tool in her creative tool box to help our clients tell effective stories that build brand recognition and brand loyalty while successfully expanding their brands’ online footprint. Her impressive career in journalism began on the medical beat of The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer in 1996 where she not only witnessed the evolution of digital storytelling, she embraced it. As the internet began to change the way news was reported, her own career evolved as she became a leader in producing multi-channel content. In addition to her print bylines, she served as a regular contributor on NPR and PBS, becoming one of the only print journalists to earn national awards in both print and radio – including a Pulitzer-prize nomination.
While teaching journalism at Emory University in 2010, Diana launched ShareWIK Media, a multimedia production house that used the power of personal storytelling to engage, educate and inspire consumers to make better health decisions. In 2016, ShareWIK and Diana joined the StayWell family, expanding our digital capabilities and offering a unique insight into the type of content consumers want and how they want it delivered.
On the path to better health and wellness, we follow Katherine’s advice to keep us on the straight and narrow. As our General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, she oversees all legal matters for StayWell, including corporate, commercial contracting, regulatory and employment. In addition, she advises the executive team in areas of HIPAA and other regulatory compliance and plays a key role in our company’s strategic growth initiatives.
When we brought Cynthia to the team, she was working in publishing for BC Decker. Since joining us, she has served as Senior Vice President, Content Management and managed StayWell’s Canadian operations. There she headed up project management for large health association clients, led the Content team to increased revenue and oversaw the company’s intellectual property.
As one of our Co-Chief Content Officers, Cynthia is responsible for our content management, maintenance and operations. She oversees our digital clinical content and medical reviews, leading both our content operations team as well as a team of medical writers and editors.
Cynthia has more than 20 years of publishing experience combining the best of digital and print. She has overseen the production of hundreds of medical journals, books, videos, online CME modules and consumer training courses. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.
Not only is he one of our Co-Founders, David also serves in both Executive Vice President and Chief Health Officer roles. He oversees the design of our population health strategies, programs and tools. He brings nationally recognized expertise to the continuous refinement of StayWell’s systems for health assessment, behavior change, population health management, program evaluation, and value measurement. David also oversees our research practices and provides consulting expertise on customer programs.
As we work to improve the health and wellness of people across the country, Robert works to maintain the financial health of our company. As our Chief Financial officer, Robert works with our leadership team, our parent company and investors to identify and implement financial strategies that will ensure the ongoing strength and stability of our company and the solutions we deliver to you. Robert consults with private companies to help clients secure funding, negotiate loans and real estate transactions, and establish and implement strategies to maximize financial operations and increase profitability.
Prior to joining StayWell, Robert served for 16 years as Chief Financial Officer for C3i — a sister company to StayWell. Before C3i, Robert worked at American Express Company for 11 years with positions in finance, strategic planning and marketing. He has a unique understanding of the financial needs of both established and emerging companies and markets, and the ability to engage a wide variety of stakeholders in understanding and embracing the financial goals of an organization.
Robert holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, also from New York University. He volunteers his time outside the office as a reader to visually impaired senior citizens and as a court-appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children.
